Zwaans van den Heuvel Tankvaart BV: liquid sulphur transport Due to the close cooperation with Zwaans van den Heuvel Tankvaart BV, the OTexDelta office organisation is also responsible for liquid sulphur transport operations. Heavy fuel oil transport We use our own vessels and charter vessels to transport heavy fuel oil in both the AmsterdamRotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) area and via the Rhine to and from Germany and Switzerland. Our customers include major oil companies and independent traders.

Gasoil, diesel oil and petrol We transport these 'clean' products predominantly, but not exclusively to destinations in the Netherlands. Not only in anticipation of future legislative amendments, but particularly with a view to increasing quality and safety, far-reaching plans are in place to transport these products using new double hull barges in the future.

Freight forwarding, agency and support services Given that OTexDelta has for many years transported substantial volumes on both a contractual and spot basis, third-party vessels are hired in on a regular basis for varying periods to complement the company's own fleet. As a result, long-term collaborative partnerships with various shipping entrepreneurs (private and otherwise) covers a lot more than just freight forwarding activities. If required, we can provide a large number of supplementary and support services, which saves private entrepreneurs a great deal of time and worry. Our intensive contacts with port authorities and loading/unloading quays mean we are in an ideal position to deal with port charges on behalf of third parties. As regards administrative services, we provide transparent financial accounting services, ranging from (credit) invoicing per trip to complete accounts and annual reporting for private companies. We advise third parties during the preparation and negotiation phases on investments and other financial issues. Lastly, our fleet manager is available on a permanent basis to provide the necessary technical, safety and quality supervision of the vessels we hire in. Among other issues, this concerns the implementation of our quality system, consultancy and support for repair work, the drawing up of maintenance and large-scale survey schedules, education and training for fleet personnel, and on-board audits, which not only aim to increase the operational reliability of the business in question, but also to meet our customers' standards wherever possible.
